Insane In The Brain

The first line of the sketch was drawn back in 2010. I thought of a gigantic brain and thousands of little dudes wandering within. I imagined an hypnotic depiction. It would be creeping and moving from those who watch it from far away, to become an anarchical ant-hill once they give a closer look.

I was just getting started when I interrupt the drawing for more than a year. I spent a long time in New Zealand, several trips in Vietnam, had a new job at Slack and many photo projects. Though, what was just a funny idea at first never left me.

Back in France, I needed to see it done, I needed to see if the final result would be as I imagined it. So I kept on drawing now and then.
It finally took four years to finish to fill my brain. I could have felt released. I guess not, because an new army of little dudes is growing on a bigger medium. To be continued!

Thanks for watching !
